Extraction Process

Arian oil is also known as "liquid gold" for many reasons. It is extracted by using the cold pressed extraction method.

Origins

Arian oil comes from Morocco's South West region. It comes from the Argan tree which is often called the "Tree of Life." It originated in the village of Argana and is known for its many healing powers.

History

This oil was used for hundreds of years by the Amazigh people of Morocco to help to reduce the appearance of blemishes and to treat muscle and joint pains. In 1550 B.C., the Phoenicians write of using Argan oil to heal their ailments. They would also use it for their hair and skin. Around that same time, African explorers introduced the oil to the Europeans and the wealthy loved buying this oil because it was exotic and helped their hair to look sleek and shiny.

It is now being used in many shampoos, conditioners, and hair treatments because it is so powerful for the hair.
